Mission Statement

Our Mission: To provide education and to collaborate with the community to prevent suicide, reduce the stigma associated with suicide, and support those touched by suicide.

Our Vision: The Coalition is a commonwealth where every life is valued and every person has the support necessary to recognize and embrace their value.

Description

The PA Adult/Older Adult Suicide Prevention Coalition, located in Harrisburg PA, is the only statewide nonprofit organization soley dedicated to preventing suicide in Pennsylvania.

You may have known us previously as the Feeling Blue Suicide Prevention Council. Due to the help of volunteers and donors, we were able to grow from a small, local nonprofit to a major suicide prevention organization in the state of Pennsylvania.

Have not volunteered for quite a while but I am familiar with the mental health stigma and know much help is needed within that area. Would like to be involved with a fun based volunteer group.
