Mission Statement

The Mission or Aim of Longford Scouts is to encourage the physical, intellectual, emotional, character, social and spiritual development of young people so that they may achieve their full potential and, as responsible citizens, improve society.

Description

Longford Scouts is affiliated to Scouting Ireland. We are a youth organisation which is Volunteer led. We develop our youth members (and leaders) through our Adventure Skills, which are:

Hillwalking

Camping

Air Activities

Paddling

Rowing

Sailing

Emergencies skills

Pioneering and

Backwoods

We are based in Longford town, and operate Sections for all age groups covering from 6 - 26.
