ABODE Contemplative Home for the Dying

A warm, welcoming and peaceful home for those in need at the end of their lives. A Contemplative care for the dying. A non-profit 501(c)3 interfaith community organization. This is not a hospice. There is no cost to the guest. We give care to patients recommended by hospice agencies that continue to manage their professional medical care. ABODE is needed when guests do not have adequate caregiving, housing, or resources to stay in their own homes. ABODE gives round-the-clock care for three guests, by staff and well-trained volunteers. ABODE is a loving alternative to a nursing facility and will be a natural extension of the guest's own hospice program and family members. ABODE is a contemplative organization that stems from one's own spiritual practice. What we bring to our guests and to each other is our authentic presence.
