By providing affordable spay and neuter surgeries and wellness services, the Animal Birth Control Clinic promotes responsible, lifetime pet ownership.
ABC Clinic performs spays, neuters and basic preventive care (vaccinations and heartworm prevention). The clinic is supported through partial fees for services, private donations, and grants. Vets are licensed and paid; most drive 2 hours each way and are scheduled 1-2 days Mon-Fri. 15 staff (veterinary technicians, receptionists, and managers); 35+ spay/neuter surgeries are performed per day.
Annual Impact: at 5 offspring per litter, ABC prevents over 45,000 cats and dogs from burdening taxpayers, shelters and rescues and keeps thousands off the streets or from being dumped on country roads.
