Old World Wisconsin will be one of the top history attractions in America by setting the standard for visitor experiences that are engaging, enriching, authentic and relevant.
Old World Wisconsin is owned and operated by the Wisconsin Historical Society, and is a premier outdoor museum of 19th-century immigrant farm and rural life, located in Eagle, Wisconsin. The museum features more than 60 historic buildings, working farmsteads, an 1880's rural crossroads village, a Welcome Center complex and the Aldo Leopold Environmental History Trail. Period-clad interpreters, rare breeds of farm animals, and heirloom gardens and crops add to the daily public experience. Old World Wisconsin provides an array of educational and recreational resource options, such as field trips, group tours, and venues for weddings and special events.
