Mission Statement

We transform the lives of abused, abandoned, and neglected children who have been removed from their families. We keep siblings together as an alternative to foster care. We give them a home of their own and are equipped with tools they need for success in life. Our children live with us long-term and are raised in a loving family farm setting where the children will remain, together, until the age of maturation/college.

Description

Serve A Meal - Perhaps the easiest way to get involved as a volunteer is helping to prepare and serve either breakfast or dinner to our kids. Group Projects - Most of our projects are suitable for up to 10 people, but occasionally we can work with larger groups on a case-by-case basis.

Special Events - El Ranchito organizes several major fundraising and awareness events each year. We rely on volunteers to plan, organize, produce, and serve at each event. Long Term Volunteers commit to serving in a relational and/or service capacity with our children. You'll have the chance to invest in them and change their lives in ways that extend far into the future.

Mentors - Mentors are needed to spend time and build relationships with our children (ages 3 to 18) We're looking for adults (minimum age of 21) who are committed to meeting once a week for one to three hours for a minimum of one year. Tutors - Tutors build positive relationships, help students in a variety of academic subjects, and encourage students in their educational development. Students are ages 3-18.

Special Project Change Makers provide a special service (give piano lessons, organize art projects, etc.) for our kids. Internships - Get hands-on experience in nonprofit, human services, and children’s ministry fields. Our internships are open to high school and college students. Both full-time and part-time internships are available.
