Mission Statement

The Gwinnett Coalition for Health and Human Services is a non-profit organization created to provide residents the help they need in combating dilemmas facing our community. The Gwinnett Coalition for Health and Human Services was formed 17 years ago through the efforts of United Way, concerned residents and business owners in Gwinnett.

The mission is to create public and private partnerships that will facilitate collaboration that improves the well-being of the community. The Coalition identifies required needs and resources, plans solutions, focuses on results and promotes community action to meet many needs in our area.

Description

The Gwinnett Helpline is a telephone service that provides help with difficult or challenging situations haced by Gwinnett County residents. By making a call to the Helpline, callers can speak to experienced volunteers that can help locate the type of service the caller needs.

The Helpline uses a computer database of more than 1,200 agencies and organizations in Gwinnett and Metro Atlanta.
