How does our organization assist orphans and children in Africa?

➢ Collaborating and strengthening the Department of Social Welfare and civil society to improve policy, planning and delivery systems to orphans and vulnerable children in Ghana.
Staff training, research, legislation, public education

➢ Enhancing the capacity of ill and impoverished parents thus preventing the premature separation of the child from their family.
Women's health, HIV prevention, feeding centers,
medical assistance, education funding

➢ Helping meet minimum standards in children's homes, foster families and community day care centers to ensure the proper care for OVCs.
OA has created and runs a foster family community specialized in providing care for babies and children with acute health problems, HIV/AIDS, and young adults rejected by other centers.
