Description

Foster Grandparent Program: Place seniors age 60+ in volunteer opportunities with children having special or exceptional needs. Volunteers receive a stipend of $2.55 and hour for 20 hours weekly, meal & mileage reimbursement, insurance while volunteering, an annual physical, and other benefits.Senior Companion Program: Volunteers age 60+ are recruited to be companions to homebound elderly. Volunteers receive a stipend of $2.65, meal & mileage reimbursement and other benefits similar to Foster Grandparents.Retired and Senior Volunteer Program: Volunteers age 55 and over are matched with local non-profit organizations throughout northern Arizona. Volunteers can accomplish a range of activities and make a difference to many different organizations and people in the region.
