Mission Statement

The Friends of Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support and enhance the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo.

The Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo's mission is to engage a child’s curiosity in science and nature.

Description

The Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo shines as a community gem and strives to engage a child's curiosity in science and nature. In the heart of Palo Alto, the JMZ continues its mission with the support of the Friends of the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo and its generous member and donor base.

The JMZ is owned and operated by the City of Palo Alto. Admission is free, but guests are encouraged to make a tax-deductible donation to support the Friends of JMZ in continuing its vital programs and projects. Cash and checks (made payable to: Friends of the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo) can be dropped off in the lobby donation box.
