The mission of the New England Folk Festival Association is to:

Preserve folk traditions in New England and elsewhere;

Encourage the continuance and further development of a living folk culture;

Promote and encourage high standards of quality and performance in the folk arts.

Description

Each year, thousands of people come from across the US and Canada to play and listen to folk music, watch dance perfomances, listen to storytelling, particpate in folk dancing of many cultures, shop at the crafts bazaar, enjoy the many kinds of food, and make their own craft projects.
