Description

The Junior Inspection Corps is a volunteer program which helps to increase the capacity of Texas A&M University Colonias Program. The Junior Inspection Corps is comprised of volunteers between the ages of 16 and 26. Their focus is on tobacco use prevention. Youth corps members conduct peer to peer presentations on tobacco as well as courtesy tobacco compliance checks. These checks are unoficial inspections meant to help business owners and retailers understand Texas tobacco laws which could then help them to avoid breaking the law and obtaining any citations.
