The Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County is a nonprofit organization that includes literacy providers, media, area businesses and concerned citizens. The Coalition works with many organizations in its continuing efforts to open new worlds to adults and children in our community with literacy needs. Literacy AmeriCorps is a project of the Literacy Coalition. We recruit, train, and place 40 full time AmeriCorps members each year to tutor children, youth, and adults; conduct literacy outreach; and engage in service to the Palm Beach County Florida community.
