Mission Statement

Our mission is to "tell everyone about it so they will know". "It" is what Bekah referred to Ovarian Cancer that night when she sat in her chair after a long day of treatment and googled Ovarian Cancer. Mom couldn't stop her because Bekah wanted to know, just had to know. It was that night Bekah & Kris came up with a postcard with the signs & symptoms for every womans fridge.

Mission #1: To educate, advocate, and raise funds for Ovarian Cancer and its Research.

Mission #2: To educate & advocate for Childhood Cancer.

Mission #3: To make a difference in the fear-filled worlds of children newly diagnosed or relapsed with cancer by sending Bekah's Buddy's and catering to small needs of the children that parents may have.

Description

Bekah & Friends Foundation is a living embodiment of the life of Bekah Mae. Bekah was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer in 2012, at only 14 years old. She passed away just 3 months later. B.F.F. aims to educate the public about Ovarian & Childhood cancers, and send Bekah's Buddy's to children newly diagnosed with cancer among other projects keeping the families first in a world filled with fear.
