Mission Statement

The mission of the EDF is to provide education and consulting for patients and families struggling with serious and terminal illnesses; to assist them with navigating the complex medical system and to raise funds for specific patients and causes. The EDF also finds elusive treatments that are not being offered to the patient.

The EDF also helps patients know their options, and if necessary how to negotiate with hospitals and insurance companies to get the treatment they need.

Description

The Eric Drew Foundation is a 501 C(3) organization run almost entirely by volunteers. The Foundation was founded in 2003 by volunteers and residents of Los Gatos, CA to assist Leukemia patient Eric Drew to get the financial support and treatment he needed while ill. The Eric Drew Foundation has held various fundraisers and events throughout the years, and will continue to hold events in the future. Please see www.drewfoundation.org for more info.
