Girls in Tech (GIT) is a global non-profit organization focused on women's innovative and entrepreneurial achievements in technology.
We are a social network focused on the engagement, education and empowerment of like-minded, professional, intelligent and influential women in technology.
Our goal is to promote the collaboration, growth, and success of women in the technology sector.
Description
GIT was founded by Adriana Gascoigne in Feb 2007 in San Francisco, CA. It currently supports over 12,000 members spread across local chapters worldwide, including France, Greece, China, Singapore, Taiwan, etc, and across the US. Girls in Tech Las Vegas (GITLV) is the newest local chapter!
We aim to offer a variety of educational resources and tools for women to further enhance their professional careers and aspirations in technology. Some of these resources will include, educational workshops and lectures, networking functions, panel discussions, mentorship programs, social engagements, and recruitment events.
