Mission Statement

Music is an international language, understood beyond geographical boundaries. Musicians and other artists are forerunners of new cultural trends. They play an important role in conveying values and serving as role models for young people. Crescendo is an interdenominational Christian organization working among classical professional musicians and music students.

Our main goals and activities are:

  1. to network classical and jazz musicians who have similar interests
  2. to encourage classical and jazz musicians in professional life and faith
  3. to communicate faith in many different ways, making Christian accents in our society through the arts
  4. to serve churches, Christian ministries and other Christian organizations for artists and musicians

Description

Would you enjoy the challenge of being involved with a start-up cultural foundation from the get-go? It's an exciting journey of launching an international cultural foundation that will also sponsor international projects in South Africa and Asia.

I need urgent help with getting the basics set up - website, fundraising materials, social networking, and a host of other areas. This could be a great resume builder for someone looking to go into cultural management or gain experience in start-ups.

My project is starting the US branch of Crescendo International. We work through culture, primarily with classical and jazz musicians to impact our culture with values. We have headquarters in Basel Switzerland and in Hungary - www.crescendohungary.org

I am located in Princeton, NJ. Being local would be a plus but is not necessary. My team and I work virtually most of the time.
