Description

CHDFS, Inc. consists of 4 major programs.

1) Our B2H (Bridges to Health) Program works with families of children in foster care. We provide workers to provide respite care and skill buildings to those children in foster care.

2) Our OMH (OMH) Program provides services and supports to families to prevent out of home placement. Our staff meet the family in the home where they would provide Family support services, skill building and respite care.

3) Our Parent Advocate Program provides parent advocates for Initial Child Safety Meetings. These meetings are conducted by Child Protective Services, (ACS) and can decide whether a child will be taken from the home or not. Our advocates are there to support the parent.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS IN THE AREA OF RESPITE, OFFICE AND ADMINISTRATION, AND FUNDRAISING.
