Missourians to Abolish the Death Penalty

Mission Statement

The mission of the Missourians to Abolish the Death Penalty is to abolish the death penalty. As a means to that end, we shall endeavor to: organize opposition to capital punishment in Missouri; affirm life and replace the death penalty with restorative justice principles; educate Missourians on death penalty issues through information dissemination and public witness; monitor death penalty activities, including capital trials and appeals, and public policy; advocate alternatives to the death penalty; and offer support and aid to prisoners, families, and friends of those living under a death sentence and to families of murder victims.
