Mission Statement

Children at risk do not vote, have no paid lobbyist, nor high-powered public relations firm. Consequently, the interests of children at risk often take a back seat in the priorities of the day. Keenan's Kids Foundation was formed to assist children at risk by directly assisting those children and training law students and lawyers to be more aware of the needs of children at risk in the legal system.

Description

Over the year the Foundation, engages in safety campaigns, to raise public awareness. Since 1997, we have been gathering clothes for distribution to homeless children, children at risk and children in foster care. We sponsor a two legal seminar regarding all areas of representing children. We give awards to various individuals who have demonstrated outstanding service to helping children. We conduct a law student closing argument competition based on a child injury case. We engage in several other projects throughout the year.
