The VOICE program’s mission is to assist and ensure that all program-participating Veterans, are given the best opportunities possible to identify their career path through various learning and job site work experience programs, and, to promote their self-esteem and value of self-worth, through avenues of networking and building meaningful relationships from their experiences.
Mountain Morning Ministries, a non-profit, faith-based organization, has partnered with Homeland America, LLC, to proudly present the VOICE program. VOICE stands for "Veterans Opportunities in Career Employment". VOICE is a one-year, on-site, residency training program, offered absolutely at no charge to our Veterans. VOICE was developed to serve honorably-discharged Veterans who have returned home from active duty and assist them in transitioning from the military back to civilian life. Part of that transition is to assist them in identifying a career path of their choosing that will help them find gainful employment to achieve their goals and dreams. VOICE is conducted at an established "base camp" in the community of Board Camp, Arkansas, where program-participants will reside during their one year with VOICE. Veterans who participate in the VOICE program will build positive relationships with professional people and each other, in a structured setting similar to the military experience they are used to. VOICE offers training and on-the-job work-experience opportunities, in a variety of occupational fields, so Veterans are able to sample different fields to assist them in choosing their career path. Our Veterans risked their lives to protect us so we can live in the land of the free. VOICE is our way of saying "Thank You" and giving back to the men and women who gave of themselves.
