Mission Statement

Austin Dog Rescue is a group of volunteer dog lovers whose mission is to rescue, train and heal, and ultimately re-home dogs in need through adoption. In the process, we will share the message of responsible pet ownership, offer training, and advocate a better world for dogs.

Description

Austin Dog Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Austin and surrounding areas. These are dogs that were either picked up as strays and impounded or were surrendered to the shelter and were slated for euthanasia. We believe there is a wonderful home waiting for each dog our Rescue Team saves.
