Mission Statement

The SAIL program's purpose is to help enhance the health, wellness, and independence of people over the age of 55.

Description

SAIL - Supporting Active Independent Lives is a project of the Madison Area Contiuning Care Consortium. We are sponsored by Attic Angel, HospiceCare Inc., Home Health United, and Oakwood Village Association.

SAIL is a membership organization for people 55 and older who are living in their own homes and wish to stay there. We offer a great deal of services including access to prescreened vendors and consumer advocacy, basic computer assistance, house checks while you are away, monthly newsletter, personalized fitness classes at a discount, Rise and Shine daily check-in service, discounted SAIL SOS - Personal Emergency Response System, transportation arrangements, and other special member services such as quarterly potlucks, mattress flip Friday, and a monthly book club.

Members receive a list of local reliable vendors for everything from plumbing to meal preparation. SAIL also provides consumer advocacy for our members when working with our SAIL vendors.
