Description

The DAPE program works with all ages and all disabilities. Our DAPE teachers help the students learn and develop their gross motor skills so they can participate as best as possible in the least restrictive setting. Often the DAPE teachers must modify curriculum to allow the students to participate. The use of adapted supplies and equipment are also very important for some of our students' success. Some of our students' have very great physical needs and equipment is either expensive or not available for their unique needs. The creation of adapted equipment is often necessary for these students to become full participants in the physical edcuation setting.
