Mission Statement

The Westerville Symphony’s mission is to provide symphonic excellence combined with community education through our three (3) symphonic Masterworks concerts and a Sounds ofthe Season holiday concert annually. The symphony performs four free community concerts - the 4th of July Sounds of Freedom concert, the Sounds of Summer concert and the July Music and Arts Festival concert. Our educational outreach includes three free performances at our Tunes & Tales Concert for young children in partnership with the Westerville Library; and, hopefully with community sponsors our Young People’s Concert for fourth graders who are choosing in which musical direction they will go. At this concert the orchestra plays side by side with high school students.

Description

Volunteers are needed on organization committees - governance, audit, fundraising, and event planning.

Volunteers are needed at events such as our Beethoven 5K run, Wine Pairing Event, and at concerts.

The Westerville Symphony is a wonderful organization that welcomes any volunteer - from professional services to being part of the magic making the events happen.
