Mission Statement

The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination.

Our goals for 2015 are to:

1) Stabilize our foundation- how do we make this unit sustainable to do effective outreach in four counties?

2) Increase our membership - the numbers show the engagement and shows commitment to the organization and

3) Align our programs to address the needs of community - what should we start, stop and continue?

Description

We are looking for volunteers who will provide leadership of a committee to s little as a one time commitment to support the work of the organization. Our committees are aligned with social justice issiues and our desire is to partner volunteers with the committee who advocates for areas they are most passionate about. We are dedicated to understanding the needs of the community and building our programs to support those programs.
