The Vandergrift Improvement Program's mission is to protect, preserve, and restore the strength of the existing community both in its central business district and residential neighborhoods.

Description

The Vandergrift Improvement Program, Inc. (VIP) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization facilitating the Main Street revitalization program in Vandergrift, PA. The VIP has an active Board and four Committees that focus on Organization, Design, Promotion, and Economic Restructuring, according to the National Main Street approach and state of PA requirements. The VIP organization and efforts are supported by the Borough and Council. The VIP works with business recruitment and retention, design, storefront and sidewalk improvements, volunteer recruitment and retention, fundraising, farmer's market, special events and promotions.
