Mission Statement

The Hearing Loss Association of America is the nation's voice for those with hearing loss. With over 200 chapters across the United States, its mission is to open the world of communication to people with hearing loss through information, education, support and advocacy.

Description

The Manhattan Chapter has monthly meetings with professional speakers on topics of interest to those with hearing loss; the chapter also reaches out via library programs and Walkathons to raise awareness as well as support and educate those in the New York City area.
