Mission Statement

The Mission of Cruise For Hope is to raise money in support of cancer research and treatment, with the hope of someday helping to find a cure for ALL kinds of cancer.

Description

Founded in 2012, in its first 2 years Cruise For Hope’s donation to cost percentage exceeded 90%. Cruise For Hope is a tax exempt, non-profit organization as defined by section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue code under section 170.

Cruise For Hope holds several fundraisers throughout the year. Among the events are an annual Crawfish Boil, Chili Cook-off and the main event the actual cruise itself.

For this main event, Cruise For Hope charters the "Tejas", a 90' passenger ship with a maximum capacity of 100 people out of Silver Lake Marina on Lake Grapevine for a night of food, fun, drinks and raffles.
