Description

The DC Poetry Project (DCPP) organization is a champion for social justice causes. The organization diligently strives to use the unique platform of poetry and spoken word poetry to melt the margins by giving voice to the marginalized in order to address issues of oppression, dispossession discrimination, sexism, homophobia and other issues that are personally or societally relevant to them. Every DCPP program has a social justice underpinning whether captured in the title or embedded in the theme.
