Capital Rep is a professional, not-for-profit theatre that since 1981 has produced more that 4,500 performances in its intimate 300-seat theatre. We bring the finest directors, actors and designers from across the country to work in the Capital Region with the theatre's dedicated staff of artists and artisans to serve the 78,000 patrons who attend the theatre annually. In addition to a year-round season of drama, contemporary and vintage comedy, musicals and premieres of new work, the theatre offers a broad range of educational programs that reach more than 24,000 young people each year.
