The Alzheimer’s Resource Center is a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of people affected by dementia. As a mission driven organization, we have been thought leaders in dementia care, establishing innovative care practices for people living with dementia and training other providers since our inception in 1990. Recognized by U.S. News and World Report for the past four years, the Resource Center boasts an exceptional reputation for our residential services that provides the grounding for our education and consulting practice. With the motto "We Live It With You," our mission is to improve the lives of the people, family, friends, and care partners who are affected by dementia and to transform dementia care through teaching and learning partnerships with aging service organizations like yours.
The Alzheimer's Resource Center serves 133 people who live in both an assisted living style envoronment and a skilled level of nursing support for elders who have a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease of related dementia.
We offer day services to people who wish to spend the day with us and continue to live in their own homes, as well as coaching and support to remain at home.
Our organization is founded on empathy and the relationships we build with one another. This expression is supported by the visual and perfoming arts as a frameowrk for daily life. Whether it is creating a beautiful peice of pottery, writing a poem, painting, developing a song; it all builds on our ability to learn and grow with each other.
