Fostering independence for Salt Lake County's older generations by offering advocacy, resources and volunteer opportunties.

Description

The volunteer drivers use a county vehicle to take eldery clients to their esstential doctor appointments. This is a door to door service from ones residence to their doctor's facility. The volunteer drivers do not need to wait for the clients during their appointments because another driver takes them home. This is an one on one experience with an elderly person in need of transportation.
