Mission Statement

The STAR House Foundation seeks to support at-risk children by providing a nurturing environment with school-based activities, establishing frequent communications with teachers and parents, creating school and community linkages, and building supportive neighborhoods for children.

Description

Since 1993, STAR House has been providing an after-school educational program and summer camp for at-risk children between the ages of 5 and 18 years old in North Fulton County. Over 170 low-income children are served within local schools by providing a nurturing environment with a special emphasis on academic skills and achieving school standards.
