Mission Statement

To provide equine rescue, rehabilitation, education and adoption services within the state ofFlorida. To provide assistance to law enforcement and animal agencies with cruelty investigations and the care and placement of horses. To promote and teach horse care and humane, natural methods of training for horses.

Description

Horse Protection Association of Florida (HPAF)operates a 149 acre farm in Marion County Florida 5 miles west of I-75. 55 horses call the farm home while awaiting adoptive homes. HPAF uses Parelli Natural Horsemanship as the foundaion for the horses trsining.Volunteers are able to lesrn the language of the horse while helping to care for formerly neglected, abused and abandoned horses.
