The Festival is a non-profit 501c(3) organization whose mission is to promote awareness of the richness and diversity of our artistry, our cultures and our countries through film, the most powerful medium in the world, as a way to foster cultural harmony and create opportunities for our filmmakers.

Description

The Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival is a ten-day event held at the famous Arclight Complex on Sunset Boulevard. The festivities start on Sunday with the premiere presentation of an award-winning film, followed by a gala where attendes feast and make merry in an ambiance inspired by the presented film, and dance into the night to the rythm of a live band. From the next day on, the festival is in full force, as it presents features,documentaries and shorts, as well as workshops, panels and lectures, and opportunities for the public to interact with the filmmakers in a Q&A period after screenings. The audience is not only latino, but multicultural, and many celebrities and industry professionals attend screenings in a regular basis.
