Mission Statement Our mission is to provide programs and services that promote physical, social, and psychological health of individuals, so they may achieve their highest level of functioning in their home-setting, and may improve their well-being and quality of life while decreasing hospitalization, institutionalization, and the stigma of their illness. We are committed to providing a workplace that fosters a caring environment for our clients, their families, and our employees. We strive to share our knowledge and expertise with the community to serve the greatest number of people who may benefit from our mission.
Description
HealthView, Inc. dba Harbor View House, a non-profit corporation dedicated in providing quality social, health and pyschiatric care services for individuals in San Pedro, California.
Established in 1968, Harbor View House provides a home to over 250 mentally ill adults that suffer chronic mental illness. Harbor View House offers extensive programs and services daily to assist in receiving board and care including meals and snacks, medical/dental cared, counseling, and recreation.
In addition to providing board and care and other quality services, we offer a fully functioning art studio and gallery, two full-time activity programs lead by Certified Activity Coordinators and, coming soon, a state-of-the art Music Cafe Club.
