To assist families and individuals to improve the quality of their lives in a manner that builds their self-esteem and fosters their ability to function at the greatest level of their capacity - socially, economically, and emotionally.
UCM offers basic emergency services such as in-kind assistance of food, clothing, furniture and infant supplies and emergency financial assistance for housing, utility and medical bills. UCM addresses the long-term needs of our clients by providing self-sufficiency services to include job counseling and placement, transitional housing, computer skills training, mentoring, community outreach, self-employment training and technical assistance, and a child development center.
