Mission Statement

The Order of Christ Sophia (OCS) is a non-denominational Order of women and men who strive to live by the Mystical Christian teachings. We have spiritual schools around the country called Centers of Light, as well as national and international classes for students. At these schools students learn about the great wisdom teachings of all time.

The Order of Mercy (OM) vowed brothers and sisters are a sub order of the Order of Christ Sophia who are dedicated to serving the world through prayers for peace, visiting the elderly who have no one, and organizing cleaning events throughout the towns and cities.

Description

The Center of Light Boston is both a welcoming spiritual community and a school for spiritual training and development. For those seeking spiritual community, we we offer classes, Sunday Services, and seminars, and to enjoy the blessings of spiritual fellowship. For those who desire more intensive spiritual training, we offer the opportunity for individual spiritual instruction rooted in the ancient tradition of Christian mysticism, the inner path of Christianity. We are mystics, and like the mystics of all ages, we aim to help seekers move far beyond dogma into a deep and personal knowing of who they are as a Soul and who God is as a loving reality.
This transformative process takes place within a loving spiritual community that supports bringing growth and balance to all areas of life.

It has changed my life for the better. I used think about myself most of the time and how I could get ahead in life. I was very stressed out. Now I think of others most of the time, pray for those who need it, and ask what I can do to help. I am much happier and peaceful now that I am giving more and and thinking less about what I think I should be receiving. Learning from skillful teachers and this loving community and knowing I am loved by God has done this for me.
