Mission Statement

Club Loco is a teen hangout club in Park Slope, Brooklyn, hosted by Old First Church on 7th Avenue. Each monthly event provides a unique, much needed space in the neighborhood for teens to hang out, perform as bands and musicians, and meet people. Club Loco is a non-profit organization through Old First Church and this project is part of its mission of hospitality and community service to Brooklyn.

Description

Best gig in Brooklyn! Be a role model and have a great evening at the same time. Club Loco, the nonprofit teens-only performance space in Park Slope, needs 20-something (or slightly older) volunteers to hang around during our events one Saturday evening each month during the school year and enjoy the teen bands and the teens enjoying them. (You should NOT resemble the parent of a teenager.) There is a little work besides just hanging out: Coat check, selling snacks, taking cover charges. But mostly it's just a good time. Paid security guard is present. 6-11 PM one Saturday a month Oct-May.
