The Mission of the Chambers Creek Foundation is to create a regional and national recreational destination that establishes a pioneering model for practices and learnings in environmental reclamation, education and stewardship for public benefit.

Description

Chambers Creek Foundationis the tax-exempt, charitable partner with Pierce County in the reclamation of what was once the largest gravel pit in the state of Washington and is now known as Chambers Creek Properties in University Place, Washington. The Foundation raises, manages and allocates resources to support and enhance the recreational, scientific, environmental, educational and esthetic pursuits necessary to accelerate the development of this nationally acclaimed treasure.
