The Colburn School

Mission Statement

The Colburn School has two distinct divisions that support a single mission: to provide the highest quality performing arts education by outstanding faculty in an ongoing environment. The school's commitment to the community is exemplified by its outreach programs-including Musical Encounter and Summer encounter-which offer free performances and classes to elementary school students throughout the Los Angeles Unified School District. Both divisions are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
