Symbii Hospice & Home Health has 4 Office Branches located along the Wasatch Front. Ogden/Layton, Salt Lake City, Sandy/Orem and Price, with care teams in each location. At Symbii our life changing services are a continuous circle of Communication, Motivation & Ownership. With doctors, nurses, certified nursing assistants, spirtual support, social workers and certified volunteers, we strive to meet the individualized cares of each and every person. With the addtional support services of music therapy, pet therapy, message therapy, speech therapy, and vigilant cares; Symbii is continually striving to be the the best provider for all communities that we serve. The hospice volunteer plays a pivotal role in the provision of services to patients and their families. As the exclusive team member in the program who is paid through "gifts of the heart", they bring to the hospice patient and their loved ones' a special kind of caring that comes from a desire to help and aid in comfort. Volunteers come from all walks of life, backgrounds, experience and education. Volunteers must be able to relate emotionally and responsibily to patients, families, and hospice staff. Ability to work as a team member, patients, open-mindedness, dependability and good listing skills are essential.
