Mission Statement

Curious Frog's mission is to present new, modern and classical works with the goal of showing a new, multicultural perspective through non-traditional casting that does not hinder a work but rather enhances the work in an innovative manner and fosters fresh perceptions.

Description

We are a theatre company which focuses on casting actors of color in traditional roles, and building a company of designers and staff of color who would otherwise have a hard time finding opportunities. Our focus is on becoming a diverse, professional company which still serves the community.

They do not need the help, clearly. Even though I tried asking for assignments. They could have said, 'Joseph, your help is not needed anymore, will you come again tomorrow?' etc. No. They asked me to wait and carry thier bags. Alas, they all took thier bags and left in two directions. Left me cold and unhappy. The show was OK. I will watch it again.

Volunteer with Curious Frog! I had a wonderful experience on their spring production of "True West." From the other volunteers to staff/crew and talent, everyone was extremely friendly and fun! I was looking for something to do on the side to satiate an interest in costume/wardrobe and it was the perfect taste of what goes on behind the scenes of a theatrical production. Highly recommended and I would be willing to help with the next production time permitting! Thanks for having me!
