Mission Statement

Our mission is to help Honduras families in their struggle with poverty and crime. We want to help raise children to become succesful and responsible adults and break the cycle of poverty and abuse.

Description

Casa Elias does what it can in the city of Puerto Cortes, Honduras. We are limited by our resources but try to be creative with everything we do. Our biggest proyect is our children's home. We are a permanent/temporal home for up to 12 boys who have no where else to go. We work together with local authorities to do the best work we can do.

We also offer English classes to the neighborhood. The Englisch language is becoming more and more important in Honduras. We want to give everybody the chance to learn this language.

With our soccer school we want to provide a place where kids can come and get our all their energy. There are teams for all ages and practices are help almost every day. The teams play in the highest youth leagues of the cities.
