Good Samaritan Society of Mt. Carroll opened it doors March 1, 1970. We are a 72 bed Medicare and Medicaid certified skilled nursing facility. The center is located in rustic northwestern Illionis. The surrounding area contains a varity of birds which residents are able to enjoy and attract to their windows with birdfeeders. It is not unusual to see deer, horses and cattle grazing or moving across the landscape of the facility. A typical window view includes our beautiful gazebo, pond, landscaped play ground, or flowering gardens. The interior is comfortable with three residentail neighborhoods that consists of the same caregivers to provide more personable care.

Residents are free to enjoy the residents dining area, lounge, solarium or one of our small nooks. They may choose to go outdoors and ride our handicap accessibla swing. A computer is available for residents to check their e-mail or just surf the web. Good Samaritan also provides Activites every day including hoidays and weekends. Resiednts have the opportunity to participate in daily chapel, outings, yoga, crafts, and many other resident oriented activities.
