Mission Statement

The Medical Reserve Corp’s mission is to organize and utilize medical and non-medical volunteers to strengthen Montgomery County’s public health, emergency response and community resiliency.

Description

Montgomery County MRC was established in September 2010. As a part of Montgomery County Public Health Department, the MRC unit provides support in local disasters including assistance in shelters, vaccination clinics or other major public health needs. The unit works closely with the Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management, CERT, United Way and other county partners to assist our community in the greatest time of need. We are here to help Montgomery County citizens prepare for and thrive after any disaster; to achieve this, we need YOU!
