Mission Statement

As a section within the St. Paul Department of Parks and Recreation, the goal of the Adaptive Recreation Program is to provide individuals who are mentally and/or physically disabled with a variety of leisure activities. Through actively participating and having fun, clients also have an opportunity to enhance their physical well-being, socialization and cognitive skills and foster creative expression. These in turn, builds their self-respect and confidence.
