The mission of the South Windsor

Public Education Fund is to

provide funds to support projects

and programs for the South

Windsor Public Schools so as to

enhance the learning experience

and encourage academic excellence

for students and educators at all

levels of grades.

Mission of our Parent Board: SW Community Foundation:

The South Windsor Community Foundation, Inc., seeks to improve the quality of life in South Windsor for all residents of all ages by furthering the development of community based programs and projects.

Description

The South Windsor Public Education Fund Committee of the South Windsor Community Foundation is dedicated to raising funds for grants for our educators in all 7 schools in South Windsor. These grants are for programs and projects that go above and beyond what the Board of Education Budget allows. We have an endowment of $55,000 and an annual budget for grants that varies between $10-20,000 depending on the fundraiser each year.
