Description

Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for dedicated volunteers that would like to help with adoptions at our center, cleaning and socializing. If you are able to dedicate a few hours each week, we would be happy to have you join our team.

We are currently in need of volunteers to help care for the cats that stay in the store kennels. Both morning and afternoon shifts are needed. We ask that you make a 3 month commitment to a weekly day and time. Volunteers need to be at least 21 years old.

Each shift lasts 2 to 3 hours and includes:

  • Giving fresh food and water
  • Scooping litter boxes
  • Cleaning the kennels
  • Sweeping, moping and keeping the adoption center tidy
  • Socializing the cats

Washing Laundry

We are in need of volunteers who can help by doing the cat's weekly laundry. We would like volunteers who will commit to picking up the dirty laundry and returning it to the Long Beach Towne Centre and Downey Landing Petsmart stores weekly.

Feral Feeder

Volunteers give fresh food and water to feral cats located at our feral cat colony in Long Beach that we maintain and care for.
We ask that you commit to one regular scheduled morning or evening feeding shift each week.
